Overcome the File Transfer Limitations: Real-Time Data Synchronization between Salesforce Systems using MuleSoft
Overview
The client approached us with the requirement to implement real-time data synchronization between multiple Salesforce systems. Also, they wanted to migrate their existing data to establish continuous and real-time synchronization across these systems. Their key aim was to create an efficient and reusable solution that enables real-time file and data transfers across the various platforms while resolving the issue of size limitations in the file transfers.
Challenges
Our team has encountered significant challenges with file transfer sizes across Salesforce systems during the data migration process.
- Each transfer was capped at 37.5 MB, but individual file sizes could not be exceeded by 2 GB.
- Multiple file transfers failed as files exceeded the allowed size and complicated the data synchronization process.
- Needed real-time synchronization across multiple systems without disruption posed additional challenges.
Our Solution
To overcome these file transfer limitations, our developers developed reusable APIs using MuleSoft’s out-of-the-box connectors, ensuring seamless data migration and synchronization. These APIs efficiently handled and transferred files exceeding 37.5 MB between Salesforce systems to ensure smooth and uninterrupted data migration and synchronization. - Salesforce to Salesforce Implemented real-time data synchronization and migration between two Salesforce systems.
- Salesforce to SharePoint Facilitated the transformation of Salesforce data to SharePoint for better storage and collaboration.
- SharePoint to Salesforce Integrated SharePoint data into Salesforce for managing centralized access and updates.
- Base64 to Salesforce Managed the transfer of Base64-encoded data into Salesforce to ensure data integrity during conversion.
