Our client was a leading accessories retailer that specialized in producing high-quality, durable products like laptops, tablets, and phones. They purchase the goods from China and sell in the UK and US. With the growing customer base and expanding operations, they require an advanced business management solution to scale their business. They were operating their entire business on Odoo Enterprise v14 but want to migrate to Odoo Enterprise v17 version to improve performance, speed, and scalability.

  • The client was unable to explore the advanced features of Odoo Enterprise v17, such as better automation and data visualization tools.
  • The client maintained much of their inventory and warehouse data in Excel, which led to inefficiencies and manual data handling.
  • With multiple warehouses across different countries, managing inventory and orders was becoming cumbersome as each warehouse handled specific products.

  • We migrated their existing codebase and database from Odoo Enterprise v14 to Odoo Enterprise v17. This allowed them to take full advantage of the latest enterprise features, ensuring better performance and speed.
  • Then, we customized the list view by adding new fields to improve readability, making it easier for users to view and manage critical information such as orders and invoices. This automation ensured that when an order was placed, the invoice was generated automatically, streamlining the process. We implemented the solution without any downtime which made the operations work smoother.
  • We ensured a seamless and accurate transfer of all data from their old system to the new Odoo v17 system. This included detailed customer data, distributor information, and inventory data.
  • The client’s sales representatives now have a clearer view of their distributors and buyers. We enabled a feature to display buyer details linked to specific distributors, enhancing transparency and relationship management.
  • We integrated customer calls and chats within Odoo, giving the client a consolidated view of all interactions, allowing for better tracking and improving the overall customer service experience.

  • We offer better visibility and management by transitioning the client’s inventory and warehouse data from Excel to Odoo. Each country’s warehouse could now track orders, manage inventory, and fulfill orders more efficiently, all within Odoo. A custom feature was added to show which warehouse the order was picked from.
  • We added a customization that allowed unit prices to be manipulated based on customer-specific pricing agreements. The price would change dynamically as per the customer’s profile and order history.
  • The team developed country-specific reports based on order data. This allowed us to generate and analyze reports for each region, enabling better insights into sales performance by location.
  • At last, we implemented Dashboard Ninja features to offer real-time analytics on their sales, orders, deals, and overall sales metrics. The system provides sales representatives with detailed insights into performance, including the number of deals won or lost and the reasons behind them.
