Odoo Experience 2024: Ksolves Fun-Filled Highlights and Reflection

Odoo Experience 2024, which was held in Belgium at the Brussels Expo, was a grand, successful event. As a trusted Odoo Gold Partner, Ksolves India Limited feels honored to have attended this largest tech & business event as an exhibitor.

Five of our team members attended the event – Om Prakash Maurya (Technology Head), Deepak Kumar (Senior Technical Lead), Kirti Sharma (Business Development Head), Vishwam Pandey (Business Development Manager), and Rajat Gupta (Business Development Manager).

We were blown away by Odoo 18 new features and apps. Also, our team had a great time connecting with industry leaders, other partners, and enthusiastic attendees. Event Highlights – A Blend of Learning, Networking, and Partnerships 

On the very first day of the Odoo event, we were overwhelmed by the crowd we witnessed at the Brussels Expo. The crowd was filled with a lot of business owners, partners, professionals, and enthusiasts across the globe. To our surprise, the event also welcomed budding entrepreneurs, helping them have an awareness of Odoo and guidance on how to use it in their businesses. 

Our 3 days of the event were filled with insightful keynote sessions, the unveiling of Odoo 18, meaningful collaborations, and opportunities for strong partnerships. 

Dashboard Ninja – Defining Our Identity 

The most exciting and proud moment for us was when people recognized us as the creators of a powerful Odoo dashboard app – Dashboard Ninja with AI. 

We got a chance to meet many of our customers who have been utilizing Dashboard Ninja since the Odoo 12 version. Interacting with them in person and knowing their experience with our app was incredibly rewarding and a sense of fulfillment. We were happy to know that our customers are saving significant money and time in creating custom reporting dashboards.  

One of our customers shared that our app helped them reduce reporting time from hours to minutes. On the other hand, our client was able to make faster decisions with quick, real-time insights into sales, inventory, and other modules. 

Plus, our team members wore hoodies with the branding of Dashboard Ninja. This grabbed the attention of many throughout the Odoo event, reinforcing our identity.

Many attendees out there were enthusiastic to learn how Dashboard Ninja with AI is different from Odoo 18 dashboard. Our members provided in-depth explanations of the unique features and capabilities of Dashboard Ninja.

Making Connections and Building Partnerships  

Every year, Odoo Experience agenda is to provide a common platform for industry leaders, business owners, partners, and enthusiasts to network and collaborate. 

This year, we had the privilege of connecting with numerous new prospects as well as valued existing customers who had already benefited from Ksolves Odoo services. Hearing from them how our services transformed their business operations was gratifying. 

Compared to last year’s event, Odoo Experience 2023, this year we engaged with a larger number of CEOs. Most of them were from the manufacturing industry. This helped us gain in-depth insights into their business challenges. Our team members offered personalized consultations to those who shared their challenges. We look forward to converting these meaningful conversations into strong, long-lasting partnerships. 

On top of all, many attendees enjoyed playing our game and winning exciting rewards. This added an extra layer of fun and engagement.  

Inspiring Presentations, Talks, and Workshops 

The opening keynote session from the CEO of Odoo, Fabien Pinckaers, uncovered Odoo 18 new features and apps. Also, his other keynote session, along with André Bake from Idealis, Johan Vlaminckx from Deloitte, and Nathanael Leutenegger from Braintec, emphasized the future of ERP. 

Besides, keynote sessions from business leaders across diverse technologies, apart from Odoo, encouraged us to think about the new possibilities for Odoo integration. 

With the release of Odoo 18, we have upgraded all our Odoo apps to Odoo 18. You can now use our apps seamlessly while enjoying the new features of Odoo 18.

Odoo Experience 2024 Talk Show by Technology Head, Om Prakash Maurya 

Our technology head, Om Prakash Maurya, delivered an insightful session on how we utilized Odoo to reduce the average packing time by 1/10 for a clothing manufacturer.

The talk highlighted key challenges encountered by our manufacturing client and explained the implemented solutions that optimized their warehouse efficiency.

Our client operates 2 massive warehouses spanning 1 lakh square feet each – one on the East Coast and the other on the West Coast of the United States. With a lack of organization, limited automation, and a lean workforce of 15, the time required to pack and ship each order was 20 days. Workers had to manually locate products in the warehouse, which was time-consuming and resource-intensive.

We addressed all these challenges by implementing Odoo with some customizations. Our solution helped the client reduce the backlog from 20 days to 2 days. Consequently, our client is now able to fulfill 500+ wholesale orders per day.
